Why MoneyGauge Exists
MoneyGauge started as a personal project. I was frustrated with many finance apps that required sign-ups, asked for unnecessary permissions, showed constant ads, or locked useful features behind subscriptions.
All I wanted was a simple way to track my spending without distractions.
So I built a small app for myself — something clean, private, and easy to use. No accounts, no tracking, and no unnecessary permissions.
When a few friends started using it, they encouraged me to publish it so others could use it too.
And that’s how MoneyGauge ended up here.

MoneyGauge does not request access to contacts, location, photos, microphone, or other device permissions.
The app only focuses on helping you understand your spending.
- No Tracking or Analytics
MoneyGauge does not use analytics tools, tracking scripts, or advertising networks.
Your usage of the app is not monitored or analysed.
- Full Control
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you always remain in control.
If you uninstall the app, all stored data is removed automatically.
- Future Updates
If future versions of MoneyGauge introduce features that require data collection, this privacy policy will be updated clearly.
